The pencil has been useful as a medium, it gives me the opportunity to quickly express what can be seen and absorbed.  Here are some of last year's sketches from the MFA drawing sessions.  I enjoyed sketching them, and the challenge was drawing them quickly, usually under 30min., a usual constraint when you use a live model.  I also sketched other artworks or sculptures, such as those from MoMA, SFMoMA and Paris.
